Unfortunately, when the CVS redid the Safeway building they got rid of the exterior globe lighting. Real shame. If those had been kept, they would have provided a fine bit of historical continuity. Those globes were very striking...
There's an aerial view of Tiburon from the 1970s on this site showing the Safeway from about 1964 (now Bell Market) in the pyramid-roofed building in the upper right corner.
