Cat , I think it is Orange , Onyx and Olive the first 3 streets up the canyon. I lived in the canyon in the 60's and yes there were some strong vibes there. I remember a house on Ethyl Ave , in Mill Valley that everybody said was haunted , so one night a bunch of us kids went up there and after about half an hour , a swarm of yellow jackets ( meat bees ) attacked all of us and ran us out of there FER GOOD ! Now it is a big modern home. In the 60's before Marin became an expensive place to live , there were all kinds of vacant homes around. I knew some people who were squatters , staking out houses that were vacant , most fully furnished and they would move in for the summer , one of them was at the end of Cascade Drive in M.V. right below the dam. We would go visit and it was always that feeling that the owner would show up , but in those days someone would pass away and the relatives would let the house sit for many years. If we only knew then how it would be now , we would all be well off.
what's the name of the street in Madrone Canyon, Larkspur, ....it is the first right when you go up Madrone.... There was an old Victorian more than halfway up the street, on the left side. My mother was a real estate agent in the '70's, and she went to an open house there. She freaked out, had to leave, because she felt cold drafts and the hair on the back of her neck stood up. She swears that there was evil in the house. She is not a flake, either, just a typical Irish Catholic native marinite herself.
Also, before the Lark Creek Inn was around, that old house was empty, and considered a haunted house by all the kids.
Are there well-known Marin Haunted Houses? UFO sightings? Wasn't Mt. Tam somehow involved with the Harmonic Convergence? (What exactly was that anyway?) Did space aliens ever land in Ross? And stay?
