Yes it was in the locations of Sam's Family Restuarant which went in there shortly after the Red Kettle closed.

There was one old gal who worked there in the late 60's..."Iowa" was her name, but she had white hair all piled high.

Talk about your "old school" diner. This place was at the end of Montecito. Even as a kid, I remember the food was so-so but it was convenient and inexpensive. I remember this old red haired waitress that worked the since Moses was in short pants. For the life of me, I can't remember her name.

Can anyone help me out here? It's going to drive me crazy!
