There are pictures of Greenbrae school in the Greenbrae section! Click Greenbrae and 50's, 60's and 70's. They should be there.

Hi - I was hanging out at the Greenbrae School Park with my kids yesterday wishing I had photos of what the school used to look like before they bulldozed it to build the sub-division that's there now. If anyone has photos of the school, please post them!

Cardboard sliding! Those were the good old days! We used to do it above what used to be Cala Market in Fairfax, behind St. Rita's!

Thanks for the reminder!

Here are some photos I'd like to see:

Uncle Charlie's in Corte Madera

The totally insane 3 story wooden play structure in Dark Park, Larkspur

pictures of kids actually PLAYING out in the Corte Madera marsh, or Larkspur Corte Madera railroad right of way. It is a rare thing to see nowadays, and if you do, chances are it is my kid.

1981 or 1982 Corte Madera Larkspur 4th of July parade, in front of Corte Madera Hardware, Barbara Boxer riding in an open car was egged by a group older teenage boys.

kids cardboard sliding down any Marin hill. This is a lost sport.

If there's something you'd love to see again from your Marin past, this is the place to make a request to the world!
