Check at the California Room at the Civic Center library; also the City Directories, if they were published that late.

The daylight could just be another window on the left side....hard to tell for sure from such a small pic....

Oops ! I'm changing my mind Stingray.

I think I jumped the gun. The mention of Hanna's with what I thought was a single lube bay got me excited.

But now I notice the daylight on the left of a second garage which would eliminate Hana's. Also the front of Hana's is that classic rounded awning.

The tiny bit you see here looks square.

We need help on this one. C'mon everyone, Let's figure this out.

I'll go with that. I'll have to go there and scope the scene, ask a few questions.I've only lived in marin for 30 years, and I noticed the place from the get go.Its always been a restaurant during that time.Being an old gas station freak,I've always been interested.Drive by it every day, multiple times.I think its time to pay them a little visit. Before they tear it down.Thank you Steve.

I'm guessing Hana's restaurant at Fourth & G San Rafael.

The car up in the air is where the entrance and wine bar is now.

(If I'm right)
