The one of San Anselmo looks like a Zan image with a different way of signing it. The handwriting seems to be the same. My guess is that 58 is either the year is was printed or a cataloging number (which is probably not what it is seeing how many photos he took). And of course there could be another reason the number of there. Zan cards are some of the most expensive Marin cards on the market.

The tracks in San Anselmo were taken out in 1942 or shortly thereafter; there was a desperate need for steel in the war effort. So the photo has to date from no later than 1942. Notice the electric rail powerhouse in the foreground peeking out behind some trees. And both depots are there, the newer in front and the old wooden one behind it (south).
BTW, it's really spelled "Lansdale"; "Landsdale" is a common misspelling.
