I was excited to see this pic when it first appeared on this site.
When we came to MV in the early sixtys I thought the row of shops where Village Music ended up seemed so modern and it must have been new and since I had no knowledge of this Mobil Station in that location, that means my count of 28 MV stations is now 29
(I'm not even sure I counted Graham's Garage which would be a nice round 30)





For 25 years I would stop into the Tacqueria in Kentfield and think,
This is a gas station, but no one seemed to know.

There haven't been any Marin County ones there, but Shorpy has been posting a bunch of gas station photos lately, including a series from 1925 like this one and today a user submitted a nice Kodachrome of a 50s Mobile station.
