July 4, 1972. 300 block of Magnolia. Troop 43 really outdid themselves that year.

Two parades in Larkspur, 18 years apart, both with beauteous parade queens and both with cool cars, taken from roughly the same place (see Probert's Used Cars sign). My sister Rosemary took the black and white one in 1948. I assume it's from the 49er Fiesta. The color one I took at the 1966 July 4th parade. Notice how in 1948 virtually everybody got dressed up to watch a parade. Or maybe it was Sunday.
