I think I can make out the beautiful old stone church on 5th & E right above Paul's name.

Thanks again Paul. I have spent a lot of time looking this over parcel by parcel.

And have lots to say, but to keep it short,
If you have good eyes or zoom in, you can see the Zip's Drive-In sign at 3rd and A.
Later they became King Henry VIII but kept that Zip's sign in addition to the new sign.
I thought it looked like a gas station here but then spotted the sign.

What is now 7-Eleven across from Safeway looks like something else.
Does anyone know what was there ?

Lots going on here if you look closely.

I stitched together two slides I took in June or July 1967 looking down on San Rafael from Robert Dollar Drive. Unfortunately, the old courthouse is out of sight behind the clump of trees at the lower left.
