Anybody remember Positively Fourth Street bar.? First fern bar in Marin, had a nice comfy air about it. Large windows so woman could feel more comfortable. Lotsa girls hung out there.

Opened in 72, overnite success.Had two bartenders on every nite for one or two years it was so busy . It had resonable drink prices.

Joe's Crossroads was on the old Redwood highway just north of downtown across
the street from Shamrock. It was there when I started working for the City of Novato
in 1979. Now when I drive by there I can't recognize anything . It's totally blown out
with developement , all those victorian apartments connected together are something
else. I knew someone who lived up the hill in one of the little houses tucked away above
where all those bulildings are now , it was a classic old rural Novato scene that is gone
for good. Novato allows so much developement but the City always cries poor , maybe
they sold out too cheep.

I'm a little fuzzy on the exact location. In Novato, in the sticks a bit.
Also, there was a real nice bar in Blackpoint, the Blackpoint Inn?
