Does anyone know when it existed in San Rafael?

I remember for sure it was there in the 50s. When it opened and when it shut down, I don't know. Found a San Rafael stamped coke bottle at an antique store a few years ago. (Yes, I bought it.)

San Rafael Public Works operates at least 14 storm pump stations , the one where
the bottling plant was is actually called Coca Cola , it was totally rebuilt in the late
80's and looks like a modern pump station. Further down the street past Montecito
center was the Mosquito Abatement yard ( DDT central ) . Now there is a pump
station there called " Mosquito " aka " O Stinky " by the late John Rucker.

I remember the plant was on Second St. before Montecito Center. I remember all of
us bottle collectors would look on the bottom of all the Coke bottles to see where
that bottle was made , I remember seeing a few that said " San Rafael CA " I sure wish
I saved one of them.

Yes I sure do. We would walk past it while dragging our raft to the canal and go "sailing". Speaking of that raft, we left it on the shore one day behind Thrifty's and some other kids took it sailing and sank in it and had to be saved. It made the news in the IJ the next day.
