An atty. friend of mine from Santa Rosa hosts her annual 4th of July Reggae & Margarita Bash. Jim was there having a good time. I found him to be very nice, also, quite entertaining. He got into one of the volley ball games, and after a short time, yanked off his t-shirt leaving him in his shorts and birkenstock sandals. And by the way, he did look pretty much the same.
He showed the same commericals over and over again for almost 15 years. It was strange to watch them knowing they were so old and that there was no way he looked the same. And they were shown all over the Bay Area and into Northern California.
ANyone who lived in Marin and owned a TV must have seen this guy's commercials.. haha. There was the puppy one, the one where he makes an ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOS reference.. I remember seeing these all the time as a kid.. He had a TON of them..
I actually ran into him at SAMS in Tiburon a few years ago and I got him to autograph a napkin.. which he signed "The Peoples Lawyer"
Anyone else remember him??
If you can get ahold, he might make a great interview for this site!! Definately a Marin Celebrity!!
