Anybody remember this thing tooling around Larkspur in the 60s and 70s? Here it is in the 1972 July 4th parade. There's a story behind it, which of course I can't remember.

Remember when the dump was out in San Rafael where Home Depot is now? Fitting, I think. Anyway, I remember a great rummage 'store' as you drove in where you could buy all kinds of stuff they pulled out of the dump that still had some value.

Anybody remember this place? I think it was behind what's now Wells Fargo on fourth St. in San Rafael. It had guns and wagon wheels on the walls and saw dust on the floor. One of my favorite places as a kid! As was sitting in the bushes outside of the Marin Motor Movies, (Marin Square), watching a movie with...

I'm talking about the old pink-and-orange Denny's. I spent many a morning, afternoon and evening parked in a booth at Denny's. In fact, I'm one of the two gals who once spent 24 hours in Denny's in the great Denn-a-thon of 1983. Denny's was home-away-from home for the Redwood High School drama dep...

When we were in our young teens in the early 70's ( pre drivers license ) one of our main modes around the county was via thumb. I remember that hitching over Wolfe Grade was a regular occurence.
