I once counted 28 stations in Mill Valley alone. There are about 6-8 now. What a huge difference I'll bet 100 have closed in the county. And is there a thread on bars ? Every town had a dozen. My Dad worked late a lot at The Office in Mill Valley, what a great name.

Who remembers during the early '80's when someone was graffitti'ing all the yellow traffice signs with the mysterious word "skids", with two squiggly lines underneath? It was a big mystery at the time. no one knew what it was for or what it meant, and it showed up all over the county.
